Launch your store
From signing up to having a real, shoppable storefront takes about ten minutes. Here's the whole path, screen by screen.
After you sign up and confirm your email via the magic link, Forma takes you straight into a 4-step setup wizard — Store, Category, Look, and Brand.
- 1Store
- 2Category
- 3Look
- 4Brand
First things first.
What should we call your store?
- 1
Name your store and claim your address
Type your store's name. Forma suggests a URL slug from it — edit the slug if you want something different, and it checks availability live. This becomes your free {slug}.forma.pk address immediately.
- 2
Pick a category
Choose the closest match to what you're selling (Fashion, Beauty, Home, and more). This just helps Forma suggest sensible defaults — it doesn't lock you into anything.
- 3
Choose your look
Pick a starting theme and variant. A live preview of your actual store (with placeholder content) updates as you browse options, so you're never choosing blind. You can change this later from Themes overview at any time.
- 4
Add your brand
Upload a logo. Forma can automatically derive a matching color scheme from it — accept the suggestion or keep your theme's default colors. Click Launch store and you land in your new dashboard.
You're in Draft — and that's fine
Your store starts in Draft mode: fully set up in the dashboard, but not yet accepting real customer orders. Take your time on the next few things before flipping to live — see Go-live checklist.
What to do next
- Add your first product
- Set up payments
- Go live from your dashboard once the checklist is green
Nothing here is permanent
