Apps overview
Growth → Apps is a marketplace of optional add-ons that extend what your store can do — install only what you need, all included in your subscription.
What apps do
Core Forma (catalog, checkout, payments, themes) covers most stores out of the box. Apps add specialized capabilities on top — product reviews, a loyalty program, digital downloads, crypto payments, and more — without cluttering the dashboard for merchants who don't need them.
Installing an app
Browse the catalog on the Apps page, open one you're interested in, and install it. Installed apps often add their own entry to your sidebar automatically (for example, installing Inbox adds an Inbox link under Growth) and get their own settings/manage page under /app/apps/{appId}.

Uninstalling
Turn an app off from its manage page at any time — its nav entry disappears and its storefront-facing features stop showing, but any data it created (reviews left, loyalty points earned) is preserved in case you reinstall later.
