Categories
Categories group related products so customers can browse by type instead of scrolling your entire catalog.
Creating categories
Manage categories from Products → Categories. Each category has a name and a slug (used in its storefront URL, e.g. /categories/womens-clothing). A product belongs to at most one category at a time — pick whichever is the primary way you'd want a customer to find it.
Uncategorized products
Products don't require a category. Anything left uncategorized still appears in your full product listing and in search — it just won't appear under a specific category page.
Where categories show up
Most Forma themes render a category navigation menu and dedicated category grid pages automatically once you've created categories and assigned products to them — no extra theme configuration needed.
Renaming and reorganizing
You can rename a category or move products between categories at any time; storefront URLs update to match the new slug, and product pages themselves keep their own URLs regardless of category changes.
