How checkout works
Checkout on Forma is guest-first — customers can buy without creating an account, and only see the payment methods and delivery options you've actually configured.
The flow
Cart → checkout → confirmation, in three screens:
- Cart — items, quantities, and any coupon code the customer enters.
- Checkout— shipping address, delivery rate, payment method (only methods you've enabled appear — see Payment methods), and the order summary with GST applied.
- Confirmation — an order number and, for methods that need it, clear instructions for submitting payment proof.

Guest checkout by default
Customers don't need an account to buy from you. If they do create one, they get order history and faster future checkouts — but an account is never required to complete a purchase.
GST is calculated automatically
If you've set a GST rate in Settings → Tax, it's applied at checkout and shown as its own line, and carried onto the order and its invoice. See Tax & GST.
What happens after payment
Cash on delivery orders go straight to Pending. Bank transfer, mobile wallet, and crypto orders wait for the customer to submit proof (or, for crypto, are detected automatically on-chain) before you confirm and move them forward.
