Bulk import via CSV
Moving from a spreadsheet, another platform, or a supplier list? Import your whole catalog at once from Products → Import instead of adding items one at a time.
How it works
Upload a CSV file with one row per product (or per variant, if a product has options). Forma reads column headers to map name, price, stock, description, and category — you'll get a preview before anything is created so you can catch mapping mistakes early.
What gets validated
- Prices must be valid PKR amounts — they're converted to paisa automatically.
- Stock counts must be whole numbers.
- Rows missing a required field (name, price) are flagged and skipped rather than failing the whole import.
After importing
Imported products land as Hidden by default so you can review them — add images, tidy up descriptions, assign categories — before switching them to Visible for sale.
Images aren't part of the CSV
CSV import brings in text and numeric fields. Product images still need to be uploaded per product afterward, since a CSV can't carry image files directly.
