Custom domain
Every store gets a free {slug}.forma.pk address immediately. If you own a domain — or a subdomain of one — you can point it at your store from Settings → Domain.
How it works
- Go to Settings → Domain and enter your domain, e.g. shop.acme.com or acme.com.
- Forma shows you a single DNS record to add — a CNAME for a subdomain, or an A record for a root domain.
- Add that record at your domain registrar (wherever you bought the domain).
- Once DNS propagates (usually minutes, sometimes up to a few hours), click Verify — your storefront goes live on your domain with HTTPS handled automatically.
Your {slug}.forma.pk address still works
Connecting a custom domain doesn't remove your original subdomain — both can work simultaneously, which is handy while you're confirming DNS is set up correctly.
DNS changes take time to propagate
If Verify fails right after adding the record, wait a bit and try again — DNS changes aren't instant everywhere, even though most registrars update within minutes.
